SAVE THE DATE! FWN is going to the Philippines for the 11th Filipina Leadership Global S
ummit (Oct. 5-8, 2014)
*** SUPER early bird registrations now OPEN until March 31***

FWN is thrilled to share the news!  For the first time in the history of the Filipina Women's Network, we're convening the Filipina Leadership Global Summit outside of the United States.  We're going back to our roots, our home country, the ***Philippines***

We have re-purposed the mission of the Filipina Women's Network: A Filipina Woman Leader in every sector of the ec
onomy.
This new mission will drive the nominations of the 2014 search for the 100 Most Influential Filipina Women in the World™ - our goal is to identify a Filipina woman leader in every sector of the global economy especially in non-traditional industries like oil & gas, mining, aviation, aerospace, building & construction, auto, forestry & paper, utilities - we just know that behind those successful organizations are Filipina women.
First stop - "home" - to our roots, our home country, to re-visit, re-capture, re-invigorate the values and the indomitable spirit of being Filipina. So, home is where our hearts are - the Philippines.
  • SAVE THE DATE - October 5-8, 2014.
  • Plan ahead and register NOW for the 2014 Filipina Leadership Global Summit!
  • SUPER early bird rates are available now until March 31. Click here to register or go to www.FilipinaWomensNetwork.org/events.
  • HIGHLIGHT of the Filipina Summit is the book launch of "Filipina Global Leaders" (working title) - the leadership competencies of Filipina women leaders, their secrets, their challenges, - stories of how they have thrived and navigated the global workplace.
  • We also plan a post-summit trip to Tacloban City so we can visit our Tacloban sisters and check their progress as they rebuild their lives with the help of our Economic Livelihood Projects we've launched - the Micro Enterprise Revolving Loan Fund and the Marsha Garces Williams Solar Job Skills Training.
Next week, nominations for the 100 Most Influential Filipina Women in the World Award™ 2014, begins.

Co-Convenor of the 11th Filipina Leadership Global Summit is the COMMISSION ON FILIPINOS OVERSEAS with the Office of the President of the Philippines, through the personal support of our very own esteemed FWN Member, Cabinet Secretary Mely Nicolas, Global FWN100 '13.
