"SHEroes Monologues"
written by Elena Mangahas & Nina Nguyen Lagac
Celebrating the Anniversary of
Philippine Independence Day
@ the FWN Salo Salo
Not much has been written about the Filipino women
of the Philippine Revolution.
Mostly mothers, wives and/or children of the Katipuneros, they followed their men, risking their lives on the battlefields and/or aiding the revolutionists in more conventional ways to advance the cause of freedom.
No More. Come to the Salo Salo on June 28 as we celebrate the SHEroes of the Philippine Revolution.
