Filipina Women's Network

In holiday spirit, let's gather in community and let's share our stories
of successes, challenges and opportunities.

"Lessons Learned: Wisdom to Pass On" is the theme and driving spirit of this unique gathering. Participants will have the chance to learn and be inspired by hard-won wisdom gained by the 100 Most Influential Filipinas.

To maximize the opportunity to hear as many stories as possible in a limited time, we have devised a "round robin" structure where each participant, including the 100 Most Influential Filipinas (based in the San Francisco Bay Area), will have three different opportunities in 20 minute increments to be part of a small group.

In each group, recipients of the 100 Most Influential Award and guests will each share one personal and one professional lesson learned from their own journeys. With eyes set on 2012, the mission of this session is to begin the process of transferring knowledge, identifying protégées and multiplying Pinay Power by the year 2012.

The session will begin with "Setting the Stage"
and close with "A Call to Action!".

Be prepared to be surprised and have FUN...
Expect storytelling, performancing, sharing, singing, poetry, "balagtasan" maybe dancing.....really Pinays getting together in our own inimitable ways....."nag-kwekwentuhan"!!!
